Tacoma Park Place is located about 14 miles northeast of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Our mailing address is Columbia, about seven miles north, also on the James River. Columbia is on the south edge of the Sand Lake Wildlife Refuge, one of the largest waterfowl staging areas in the Dakotas. On some highway maps the village of Tacoma Park is illustrated, on 127^th Street (Brown County #13). Auto driving directions from the east would be six miles west of Highway #37, (the Groton to Hecla road), on 127^th Street. From the west, five miles east of Aberdeen on Highway #12 to Bath, north 6 miles on 395^th Avenue, and east 4 miles on 127^th Street.
